Our Sleep was Disrupted Last Night

At about 2:00A last night, there were dogs barking outside. Our neighbor has two dogs and they aren't well cared for. I have never reported her to the management, but other neighbors have.
Last night, those two dogs were tied outdoors on very short ropes. After about twenty minutes of non-stop barking, someone came and let them back inside.
I don't know if Jay reported this incident, but we shouldn't have to deal with it. We pay our rent each month, a good night's sleep should be an option for everyone.
When we were living in the 5th Wheel, a huge Great Dane was barking to get back indoors. Jay got sick of this, got out of bed, crossed the road and let their dog inside.
Jay asked the Administration if this dog is well cared for. Andrew told him, that Great Dane gets better care and more attention, than the man's wife!
It's 13 years old and in perfect health:)
Then, we moved to the other side of the trailer park, into a vacant trailer for the winter months.
Oh, I hope and pray that these dog issues are short lived. And I'm crazy about cats and dogs!

Sorry about that. We once had to call animal control to come out and get the neighbors mistreated dogs. There were around 4 of them. It was pitiful. Luckily those neighbors foreclosed on their mortgage and had to move.

At least when you reported that abuse, those dogs were taken to a shelter. These dogs are well fed, but maybe not every day. When they bark, maybe it's for water!

Disrupting someone's sleep is never all right, except for an emergency situation. My mother was my neighbor, an ambulance backed into her driveway. I rushed over, to make sure Mom was OK!

I do not like noisy dogs. I love both cats and dogs but just like with kids, I do like it when they are well behaved. I hope this issue is taken care of.

Those dogs should be shut inside at night, then let out in the morning. She neglects to do this. I don't know if they get food/water every day.

Barking dog issues can be a big problem. My nephew just moved in part because one of apartment owner's dogs was driving him crazy.

Oh wow. But are you sure it's the Great Dane and not any other breed of dog? 
I am just pulling your leg. Please don't take it seriously. But why I was asking this is because, the Great Dane has a life expectancy of about 8 to 10 years. And you said that this particular Great Dane is around 13 years old and in great health condition. So I was a bit surprised to read that.

@kobesbuddy This is the first time that I'm hearing that the Great Dane has lived that much. Good for him, actually. But I was merely mentioning this thing. Because I did a bit of research and found out what I wrote in the above response.

I had to call the Humane Society once at our old house because a dog was kept tied up outside in all types of weather without a dog house. Broke my heart. Soon after a dog house appeared. I hope the barking doesn't continue. Have a good day.

Dogs that are well cared for don't bark at night. Ones that aren't taken care of, bark to get attention.

At City Park, most of the dogs are spoiled rotten. Their owners are older couples, who are caring people.

These dogs are cooped indoors, all day long. Then, tied outside for the night! Short ropes, they get tangles around each other, no beds or shelter during the rain!
