July 23, 2024 12:42am CST
We often social media for many bad things, such as depression, jealousy, compitition, bad behaviour, crime and many more. To an extent these are accusations are true, but we can ignore its positive impact. Personally I learned may things from social media it helped me understand world and people in a better way. Recently I was going through some tough phase in my life and came across some spiritual videos these videos helped me fight my negative thought and motivated me to hope for good. What's your opinion on social media, do you consider it as a tool for good mental health, if yes why?

Social media comes with it's own sets of pros and cons. It depends on how you make use of it. This is true for all technology advances. It can be a boon or a bane depending on how you use it. I have made good use of social media and it has helped me in many ways.

@ChristineSara I get some good resources there for my professional learning. And also a lot of ideas for my art and craft projects. I use it judiciously. It's a bad thing when you get addicted to it and it impacts your offline life and obligations. Also, if you are misusing it for trolling and other such things.

I also usually use youtube for study and learning purpose. It is the only platform in view that offers you a lot for free.
