Thankful for a day off...

Good afternoon from this side of the planet 
. It's 12:10 as I write this post. It's another cloudy and gloomy day. We have not seen much sun in the last two weeks. . The weather is cold and I have my light jacket on. I know many in North India would be jealous as they are facing extreme heat and humidity.
It's Tuesday and a day off for me. Today our School celebrates it's Founders Day and we get a day off. The school has been running for the last 15 years and I am working there since 2018.
I had a long weekend this time. I got my usual Friday and Saturday as weekend. And my Sunday afternoon was also free as the parents education program happens every alternate Sunday. Well, I used this time to catch up with a lot of assignment from the course and also to do a bit of cleaning around the home. My husband is traveling and he would be back tomorrow. He again leaves on Saturday for another business trip. So, I am utilising this time to just catch up with my assignments and homeworks. I don't have much cooking to do. My younger daughter and I can manage well.
Well, another month is inching towards its end. And then one last month before we enter the "ber" months. Somehow, once the ber months start, I get the feeling of another year knocking at the door

@just4him I am loving this course. It's quite demanding but it's interesting. It's still drizzling and we have prediction of the same kind of weather for coming week.

It's raining here again. Today is colder than yesterday. We would like to have some sunshine. It has been two weeks and everything seems so damp. I did enjoy my day. The assignments are so interesting. It was fun doing the research online

I can't believe it's been almost 6 months since my husband has been gone. There are times when it seems like yesterday and other times the days are dragging until he comes home. Have a good day.

I did enjoy doing the assignments. . The assignments are really very unique and interesting. I loved doing all the research and reading. It was not stressful at all.

@allknowing Very true. I got so engrossed that I didn't realise that I was awake till 1 yesterday night and still I could manage to get up at 7 and go for work today. I think the interest gives you extra energy. I will catch up with a nap in some time

Hmm...I am on the same page of thought. Even I feel that years are passing by faster since I turned 40. I feel like I am getting older with each year and I have still so much to do and explore in life. But I have learnt to appreciate the smallest joys in life with growing age.

I know it feels like that. We left the Diwali decoration for few months. Till January end was ths plan as we wanted lights for new year and Pongal ( mid January). But then we got lazy and left it till April. And now in two months, we have to put it back. Why so much of bother?

Yes, we have crossed the halfway mark and now speeding towards the end of the year. Time flies!
I would get another weekend also a long one. This Sunday's class is cancelled as the faculty has got some seminar to conduct. So, I will have weekend starting from Friday till Sunday.

Here, we have rain and clouds for the last two weeks. Thankfully, it is not very heavy rain and so no flooding. But we need a break from the gloomy days . A sunny day would be welcomed.
I hope that it's not too much of rain there to cause inconvenience of any sort. Hope that your dig gets better soon.
