Setting up the shelves

I need to do kitchen things, and outdoor things. I am hoping there is enough space on the shelves for all the food I need to put away. Going through the things I have is motivating some cooking for later in the year when I go back to work. Having containers of things to defrost and heat up sure makes the work day less burdensome. The sleep I got last night felt good, but there just was not enough of it. If I continue sitting here I will be asleep in no time. So I will work inside, and out. Today is our last day in a series of cooler than normal temperatures. I am glad of it.

Organizing thing is a great idea. What was your specialty in cooking?

I really do not have a specialty. When I worked in people's homes who needed care I just said I was an old lady who knew how to cook for old men.

Did you say earlier this year is the last year before you retire?

It is the last year my student CM is at the elementary. I do not plan to move to the next school with him. We will see what is available for me in the future, or what I feel called to do. There may be another student who really needs me. I get bored before summer "vacation" is over.

I hope you have enough shelving for what you want. We have quite a lot of space here but much of it is too high to be really useful.

I used to work all day Saturday making massive quantities of food for the week and for my in-laws. I always wanted to put food in the freezer for future meals; but my husband ate it all. lololol Have a good day.
