* Can you even fathom a shark that is 18 to 32 feet in length? That is the whale shark. * Not all sharks are carnivores. Bonnethead sharks are omnivores. They enjoy a diet of small crabs, shrimp, and small fish as well as seagrass. * The World Wildlife Foundation says there are over 530 species of sharks in our oceans. Each is important in maintaining the ecosystem underwater. * A group of sharks is called a shiver. Ghee! I wonder why. They are also referred to as a frenzy or school of sharks. * Sharks do not have bones. Their skeletons are comprised of cartilage. This is what our noses and ears are made out of.

Sharks are fascinating to learn about and to see in pictures but not up close, It was enough for me to see the movie Jaws and that was not even a real shark,

I have only seen that movie once and have no desire to see it again. I wonder how realistic the size was.
