Spiritual Gift

I was going through a youtube video and found preacher saying that Holy Spirit already within us, due to which we already posses spiritual gift and even if we don't feel it we must use it in order to activate it. I do agree that holy spirit is within us, but my question how can I use something which I don't know about. If I don't know what spiritual gift I have, how can I use it in order to activate it.

Yeah, your question is on point. I don't know either. 
Actually, I'd like to know more about spiritual gifts in general. I know a few "canonical" ones such as healing, prophecy and so forth, but it should be broader than that. After all, the main goal of the holy gift is to serve God, not to impress people with miracles.
Once again, I think there isn't much to do except researching. Hopefully you'll find a story that resonates with you enough to enlighten you about your own gift.
In my opinion, if something moves you to tears (of joy) and boosts your faith, it's usually a good sign you're on the right track.

@ChristineSara That takes an amazing dedication, praying and reading the Bible everyday! But it can get old, you might want to experience new things, look for signs and see what awakes the Holy Spirit in you. Watching YouTube videos is pretty good already, there's a lot of good content over there.

I have been praying and reading bible since childhood but now I think rather than establishing connection I have made it my daily ritual, but this time I truely want to comnect with god and it is only possible through holy spirit.

Well, you have to think about your personality. What kind of things do you do? Are you good with people? The Holy Spirit can use your natural abilities and personality. If you have a natural ability to empathise with people, for example.

Most of the time I empathise which wrong people and at end I feel like I am a big fool.

@ChristineSara No, you shouldn't. Because it's your kindness that matters, not what other people say or do or don't say or do. It's your good intentions that matter.

@sharonelton I agree but when these things start to repeat it self again and again then at some point you don't feel like being good is nice, it only make you feel fool. I mean if the bible says that it rains equally both on good and evil and if you see evil people having all the fun then at one point you feel these all things doesn't even make sense.

Get deep in prayers and ask God to reveal to you what your gift is,its true the holy spirit is always within us
