A survey site asked me what stage of cancer I have

This question was a bit scary. I am not sure why they asked me this if I didn't say that I have cancer. As far as I know, I don't have cancer. And some people who had cancer died. Others are cured. I have a question. Can cancer be cured? I read online and the answer is that cancer can't be cured. But so many people don't have cancer after treatment. I didn't like this question. It reminded me of my fear of cancer. My grandmother had cancer and she died in the worst way. It was very sad. Have you received such questions when you completed surveys?

I have been asked what kinds of illnesses I have as well if I have cancer even though thank goodness I am cancer free.

If the system thought you said "yes" when you meant "no" it might've asked you a follow up question. Cancer can and has been cured, however, it's important to catch it early. Cancer is in four stages. Stage one, and stage two have the highest success rate of a cure and complete recovery with treatment. Stage three your chances drop, and stage four, well.... that's the final stage before you pass on. Most people tend to go into remission, which only slows down or temporally haults theprogression. It tends to buy people a bit more time on this Earth.

No, and of course cancer can be cured. Some people never have a recurrence after a bout with cancer. My dad has had cancer a couple of times, and he went for a second opinion at one point. They oncologist looked at all that had been done, and said his chance of a recurrence was less than 20 percent, and he has not had it again.
