Did He Learn This From Trump?

In my local newsletter email today I read about a businessman, Michael J. Eisenbeiss Jr., here in Boise who was sentenced to 17 years in prison on July 22 for fraud and ordered to pay $352,683.03 in restitution to his victims. He had fraudulently written $150,000 worth of checks and knew he did not have the funds to cover them. From September 2018 and April 2019, he contracted work from several Boise businesses to build residential homes in Eagle and Star. He was charged 12 counts of issuing an insufficient funds check, two counts of grand theft, and two counts of forgery. This sounds like something Trump would have done.

Well atleast this dude actually had a VICTIM...there were NO victims in Trump's trial, and the banks said they would be glad to do business with him again. Trump only did what MANY real estate / developers do, upgraded the price of his property. That stupid judge tried to say Mar a Lago was only woth $18 million...there are simple houses going for that down in south FL.. Mar a Largo is worth about $80 Million or more. NO Fraud..just Political Crap!

I disagree. There are many victimless crimes that are crimes nonetheless. Yes, it was fraud. Any time you put down in writing something that isn't true to try to gain from it is fraud. Trump tried to say that Mar a Lago was worth a lower or higher amount when it met his needs. Again, that's fraud. The definition of fraud is as follows: the wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain: No 'political crap'. It is called the law and justice.

@celticeagle So wondering WHY when this happened several years ago and Most Businesses USE this a LOT...WHY did they bring charges against him NOW? Even the banks explained that they didn't even pay attention to his proposal, they did their OWN research, and STILL gave him the loan..and would again Anytime!...It was Political just like the rest of the charges against. him. Joe Biden had Documents way back to when he was a Senator...had them for YEARS...documents that he should NEVER have had...but nothing was done about those documents until they went after Trump...Those Documents were in CHINA TOWN!!! What Trump did in the "Fraud" case will be overturned...He appealed it. Businesses in NYC were worried that they might come after them, as they do what Trump does. LOL Anyway..I guess I don't hate Biden (though I should) as much as people HATE Trump...even though my Tom and his friends all had lower taxes and prices were lower with Trump..just can't figure out why he is Hated so much. I like a President that has Energy and Does things to HELP the country.

There were many victims, Everyone who had to pay more interest because Diaper Donny fraudulently got a lower interest rate is a victim. I hate having to defend a bank that should have been smart enough to completely avoid Trump because he's never honest about anything but that's where he are. the banks are less evil than Trump.

I am glad he is going to prison. He will never be able to pay that money back which is wrong.

Me too. He will always owe it though and his financials will suffer because of it.
