My goodness there was so much chaos here yesterday. The concrete steps people were pounding and drilling, the window man was pounding, the phone was ringing. But now the concrete is poured and the new window is installed. The landscaper guy wanted $450 to pull weeds...I said no thank you. My husband's 2nd cousin said she loves to pull weeds. I will pay her of course. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Sloppy Joe, peas, potato wedges, pineapple Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin Dinner - PB&J sandwich What did you eat yesterday? $450 to pull weeds? That guy tried to scam you, didn’t he? Either that, or I seriously underestimated what people charge these days. Yesterday, I had fried catfish, an apple, dried snap peas, dark chocolate covered almonds, and green beans and onions.

He said he would have 2 guys for at least 2 hours. That's quite an hourly rate!!!

@LindaOHio — the chicken & tomato sandwiches were canned chicken and canned diced tomatoes, with some ranch dressing on it. Yummy.

At this rate you will lose weight like your husband. I will admit to a PBJ last night. Sometimes simple is the best.

I'm not very mobile so I gain weight very easily if I overeat.

We ate strange things yesterday. Pizza rolls for breakfast. A hot dog and pork beans for lunch and chicken bites and mashed potatoes for dinner. My husband picked everything.

I LOVE pizza rolls, but have not had any for years. You really got to let those things cool down. They are like mini lava rocks. lol

Breakfast toast with apple butter. Lunch beef tips with onion and mushrooms, broccoli. Nothing for dinner, still full from lunch. Snack vanilla ice cream, handful of peanuts, blueberries.

That does seem a lot of money just to pull weeds.

$450 to pull weeds???!!! That's outrageous! Yeesh. As for dinner I made baked chicken thighs smothered in some leftover riblet sauce I had left from a previous On-Cor dinner, and made macaroni and cheese and mixed buttered vegetables on the side.
