I survived my long day at Guitar Center yesterday and have only four students today. It's short of 9 AM but I am already drenched in sweat as I sit here at my desk. I see the pool in my near future. Perhaps twice today. My knee hurts, and I have not yet iced it this morning, but I can get around on one crutch now. I suppose that's a good thing. I have not gone down any of my worm holes yet this morning. At least my "Your Mind is on Vacation" song got a few new hits this week. Maybe I'll link it for those who have not seen it. Has Trump's stock soared back above 40? Were there any new mind-boggling murders in Oakland last night? I dunno. At least I had eggs and bacon for breakfast this morning. It hurts, but I am able to get around on one crutch now. I can actually walk around my (small) apartment without crutches, as long as I have things to grab.

I believe I read about the banana bread and commented. It sounds yummy, but makes me want milk and coffee. I bought some fried chicken this morning at Safeway for protein.

I have bacon on the shopping list. I buy a big pack as it's usually cheaper then divide it up into smaller portions and freeze them.

It's 9:41 PM and I am feeling pretty tired. It was a long day and I should be sleeping soon. Your breakfast sounds good. Hope your knees feel better soon and you can enjoy the pool on hot sunny day. We badly need a few days of sunshine. It's been cloudy and gloomy in the last two weeks

She seems like a strong and articulate woman. I hope she is strong on energy independence and drilling, as both Trump and Biden have been. She was a DA, and I want to see if she is hard on violent (and white collar) criminals. Our soft attitude toward criminals is one of the things that has made me wax conservative in the last 20 years or so.
