Olivia Will Be Entering Kindergarten this Fall

Time goes by so fast:) As it seemed for the past 5 years.
One minute Olivia was toddling around in disposable diapers. Then, she was peddling around on a tricycle.
In September, she will be starting her first year of school. Kindergarten is actually a first step, out into the real world. Olivia will be mingling with other children her age and learning various lessons as she goes.
I hope and pray that she enjoys this venture. Life is never easy for anyone and kids are included in this complicated world that we live in.
I'm Olivia's 72 year old great-grandma. Every day offers me another opportunity, to fit a couple more pieces into the puzzle.
And when it's finally completed, it will be my time to leave:)

@kaylachan My son Chad was severely cross-eyed at birth. He went through 4 eye operations, before he was old enough to go to school. The doctor did an OK job, Chad has terrible vision. Without his glasses, he doesn't do anything. They are very powerful lenses.

Olivia's eye on the right(her left eye) was turned inside. The surgery fixed it, I'm happy with the results!

It sure does go by fast. She's starting off on the adventure of school. I hope all goes well for her. As for you I hope there are many more puzzle pieces to fit.

Olivia's older siblings are doing fine in school. They adjusted quickly. She is a feisty little girl, nobody had better pick on her

Thanks! She's also Japanese, Olivia's father is 1/2 Japanese:) His mother was born and raised in Japan.

How exciting, I hope she will enjoy it and get a good best friend, I remember my first day of kindergarten, Being an only child and taken way from everyone I knew to a strange place I was terrified, I was also still mixed up with Latvian and English, My dad took me to the classroom door, I sat on a chair in the hall, I watched him leave and I threw up. The teacher got my dad back and said I was not ready for school yet, It took a couple of more weeks but I finally got used to it,

I was frightened during Kindergarten years. Some children were very cruel and verbally abusive!
