There is a Hantavirus (Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome) warning in the US. Spread from rodents to people through urine, saliva or feces, there is no cure. There are 7 cases confirmed in Arizona, 3 of them died, and 2 cases in California with 1 death. In 1993 Hantavirus was detected in a Navajo tribe at the border of Arizona and New Mexico. Approximately 80% of the population died. Our housekeeper will be taking our car to get an echeck today. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Tuna salad sandwich, coleslaw, 3 bean salad, grapes Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin Dinner - PB&J sandwich What did you eat yesterday? No cure. Oh, great! Reminds me of the virus that is spread by mosquitos. West Nile. There is no known treatment for it. Good luck in keeping healthy and away from these viruses.

I remember in the 90's people were having their guinea pigs and hamsters euthanized because they mistakenly thought those pets could give them hanta virus.

I made a version of beef stroganoff and of COURSE, as per the usual, did my own thing. Just browned up some ground beef and drained off the fat. Then added some onions, mushrooms and yellow peppers. Cooked that up a bit with some salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Then in with some penne noodles, raw. 4 cups of beef broth went in after that and I added some oregano and Italian seasoning (we like it). A little dollop of Worcestershire sauce went in next, and I let the noodles cook up nice and soft and let the liquid absorb. Then I didn't have any sour cream, so I just threw in some French onion dip (hey, it's sour cream based), and voila! Dinner was served and it was DEElish!
