Donald Trump - Coward of the county?

He's been trying to wriggle out of it since Biden stepped down, but now Donald Trump has officially admitted that he won't face Kamala Harris in the televised debate that was scheduled for September.
I'm not aware of any other occasions when a US presidential candidate has turned down the chance to debate an opponent.
But then again, if I had Trump's criminal record - and if I was guilty of half the things that he has yet to stand trial for - I suppose that I too would be scared to face the Prosecutor.

As I see it from the outside, Trump won´t gain nor lose votes with a debate. He is a cult leader. I can only hope that he won´t also be the US president.

If I was Trump's campaign manager, I'd definitely keep him on the golf course as much as possible!

He knows she would make mincemeat of him and his record. Most bullies are cowards and he is both.

There are lots of reasons. She might bring up the fact that he donated money to her attorney general campaign in California in the 2010s. Most probably, though, he knows that he can’t get through an unscripted moment without uttering a slur, and him calling her something disgraceful in relation to her gender or ethnicity (or both) would be a killer.

The last debate was with a candidate that was guaranteed. Until Kamala Harris is official it makes sense not to debate her yet. The real question is why hasn't she had an interview yet? It is weird she doesn't talk to the press.
