Good morning, dear friends. Today my life changed a lot. I had lent most of the money I had inherited from my mother to my eldest daughter so that she could buy an apartment. She paid my the interests from the money but she could not pay me the money I lent her as she had used it to buy the house where she now lives. I had kept some of it witth me but I used it, mostly when I was at the hospital 2 years ago and then when I invited Diego to Aruba. Tania sold the apartment and yesterday she received the money. And she paid back what I had let to her. I´m very happy! With that money I could live very well over 3 years without having to worry about selling my house. Still I will do it. But I´m not pressed to do it quickly and that means that I will do it the best way for me. I will ask Humberto to give me some advise about the best way where to invest it. I know that if I just leave it in the Bank it will be the worse thing to do. This was the best piece of news in a long time for me and for my daughter too. I know that she has money problems because she is paying for psychological help for Diego. I belong to the old school and is he won´t study, I´d kick him in the butt and make him get some work. Daniel told me that the only thing that Diego does is to smoke weed and to play in the computer. And I can´t help but wonder who gives him the money for weed? But that´s another story. See you, friends. I´ll mylot a bit more and then I´ll get up. It is not so cold today And I already had breakfast and washed all the dishes.

It’s nice to have some good news! Troubled grandchildren are such a worry and nothing much we can do. Take care.

I agree about grandchildren. My grandchildren were brought up as children are brought up now. Too many rights and not a single duty. I don´t agree with that, but that´s the way it is now.

Now you do not have to worry where your bread comes from. Congratulations. I am very happy for you. But I know you like to spend and so be a bit careful with that (lol)

I am not a person who spends a lot. I live within a budget. But I believe that we all must have some little luxury in our lives. In which way do you think that I like to spend so much?

@allknowing I have never spent more than my means. I am the only person I know that only has one credit card and pays it completly every month. What is money crunch?

@marguicha Perhaps you did it because of the money crunch but now the situation is different - just saying.

Oh, that is awesome. I would wonder the same thing about the weed situation. It is amazing how a small sum of money, or a large sum for that matter, can give us some peace of mind while we make decisions for ourselves.

If I sold my house and rented a house, I´d have money enough to live over 100 years. But I don´t want that. I want to have a small house of my own and to remodel it my way. All the houses in the neighborhood I like are old and bathrooms and kitchens have to be remodeled. Taht, to begin with.

That is truly wonderful news! And it takes away the pressure of having to hurry to sell the house, you can slow down and do it and hopefully find the perfect small home for yourself. Yay!

I just placed my money on interest in the Bank. Humberto guided me through that. I´ll have the money in 7, 30, 60 and 90 days while I decide what to do with it.
