Keeping unwell for a couple of days today

Hello friends, it has been raining for the past 4 days continuously. And since the last month-end we haven't had any kind of sunshine. Such atmosphere is condusive to invite health issues like viral fever, temperature, body ache, etc.
My wife has gone through this for the 4th day today. And I am down with fever and body ache for a couple of days.
I have seen a lot of notifications still pending to be answered. But I don't have the mental energy and physical power to reply today. Maybe I will get back tomorrow.
Wish me speedy recovery friends, feels silly to say this

Wishing you the best of the health and recovery.
Here too we have been having cough/cold/fever in turns.
I got sore throat since afternoon.
I had two teas in the evening time (at a gap).
One advice is to catch up Cricket and Olympic action.
It can get your mind occupied and help recovery.
Of course it's just an opinion but worth trying!

I'm also still facing the throat pain. It's not sour. In fact, whenever I get fever or catch cold, I never get a sour throat. But my wife does. May be those with acidity problem might be having sore throat.
I'm between, your suggestion was right - to catch up with some cricketing action. Coincidently, India is playing against Sri Lanka. But you know, no matter how much you love a certain thing, there's no enthusiasm to enjoy them when one isn't feeling well.

@vandana7 Yup. And water droplets keeps ozzing out of the eyes. And yes, eyes ache too. You feel like rubbing them vigorously, closing them tightly. And not opening.

Yeah, thank you so much for the warm wishes. Actually, there is still no hope of seeing the sun so soon. The forecast says a little bit of rains in the next week or so. But overcast conditions overall.

I'm on the way to recovery. Yes. On the way. Not recovered. But still only enough to come here and meet you all, talk to you all etc. That's a tonic for me.
Once I'm used to here routinely, then only I'll be energetic. But still, thanks so much for your lovely wishes!

Hahaha... I'm really amused by your reply. And this brings a smile on my face. "Try" and have a good weekend"... That was just the beginning of these 3-4 days of uneasiness. So there was no question of trying. I mean, it's only now that I'm feeling a bit better. The weekend wasn't good at all. But I hope the next weekend will be.
