26 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, pleasant Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 81 F in Green Bay, unlike Paris where it's pouring rain.
It's been a good day. I didn't spend much time on the computer today. Instead, I watched the opening ceremony for the Olympics. I totally enjoyed it.
I'm thankful for the bit of walking I did this morning. I don't have all my steps yet, but I will shortly. I'm also thankful for the hour I worked out on the foot cycle at the beginning of the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics.
I'm thankful for the work I did on two books today. Not much, but it's better than nothing.
I'm thankful for just resting and not feeling like I needed to go anywhere and do anything. I needed this kind of day. My friend told me earlier that I'm pushing myself too hard. I probably am.

I'm thankful for the thunder and what not. I'm thankful for Chilly being the purr machine he is. I heard from a friend who messages me every few years and it was nice for her to wish me a late happy Birthday. I'm thankful for George not putting up a fight. Got his second tube of the day done.

I'm going to watch Olympic Women's Volleyball shortly. I think Celine Dion's performance was amazing and an example of what a strong woman she is with her medical problems. I'm still thankful that my husband will be coming home soon. Have a good weekend.

I’m thankful my sister and niece got home safely from Florida today. Hopefully, my dad and his wife will be able to say the same by tonight. I know they’re all going to be exhausted.

I am thankful I finally got Dish TV cancelled. They gave me a really hard time. They are desperate to keep customers so not too surprising. Also bills are paid the month..yay

I tried to write a post about the history of the Olympics and for some reason the site wouldn't let me post it. I got a weird error. I like that feeling of not having to go anywhere or do anything. I just arrange and schedule others to do things. Heehee
