Great Day

It was very comfortable all day with a steady breeze. We have a haze in the sky from the Canadian wildfires. But it is staying up so not aggravating.
I got a new patio umbrella for 4 dollars that has solar powered lights built in. I really hope they work. But even if they don't it was still a great price. I might be able to tell tonight. I also got a box of AA batteries. I am always needing those. I only paid 6.50 for 32 of those. WIN. Then I got my money from the elderberries and made a dollar after what I spent today.
I am sharing a video from the trail camera. Don't stop it when you think the critters are gone. Watch the right side and you will laugh. I am going to set that camera to take a little longer video tonight.

We have some of the smoky haze as well. Hopefully we won't get it as bad as it was last year.
I assume that since you are getting hardware cloth for your chicken coop, the racoons will not be robbing you of eggs or chasing down your chickens at night!

We had a lot of smoke at times last year too
The raccoons are not the problem. I keep them out easily. It's the weasels. They can get through fort Knox almost.

I hope your umbrella works. Good price on the batteries. We recycle our batters. My grandson keeps track and has a gage that lets us know how much juice the battery has and all that good stuff. Some can't be recycled but those that can save us a lot.
Thank you for sharing the trail cam. I enjoy animals and watching them do their own thing.

You sure got some good bargains, Glad you got money from your elderberries,
