Reminiscing and Crying

What a day! I woke up angry. My daughter had lost the key to the mailbox and I told her where a copy could be found. As usual, she came out of the walk-in closet saying she couldn't find it. So now how do we get our mail? Makes me rather angry when she doesn't try to accomplish things. She dusts the surface and says that's as good as she can do. Oooh! Then I watched "84 Charing Cross Road" and the ending made me cry. So heart-wrenching and sad. People growing old and dying when they haven't even had the chance to meet. it got me thinking of how wonderful my grandmother was and how my grandfather put up with me even though he didn't like kids. The people in my life mean so much and are all gone. The memory remains(thank goodness) but the touch is gone. Hugging my grandma and smelling that mix of soap and Noxzema. I will never forget that. Life treads on. This next movie starts with a boy about nine or ten being ordered out of a car and left by the side of the road. It's "Fireflies in the Garden". It should be interesting.
