Now my husband has decided he wants handrails on the lower steps leading to the front porch. I'll have to see how long we'll have to wait to get that done.
Hubby's 2nd cousin came and did some weeding. So far she has refused to take any money. I dog sat while she was weeding; and the little Pomeranian jumped into my lap. I guess he now accepts Cousin Linda!

Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Marie Callender's Turkey Dinner
Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

Handrails are probably a good idea. Just one more extra measure for safety. I know once he gets home the last thing he wants to do is fall and wind up right back to that place again.
For dinner I cooked up a marinated pork tenderloin and we had salad and Spanish rice on the side. Absolutely good eats.

@porwest Every time I ask him if he's coming home in a week he tells me "Stop it!" He doesn't want me to get my hopes up.

@LindaOHio I bet there are short grab bars. You need something. The shower/bath is a prime place where people fall and harm themselves.

@sallypup The length of the grab bar is not the issue. It's a narrow shower.

Well that is good to hear that the doggy has accepted you! That's good she helps with things like that.
No Olympics here. I might like gymnastics, if that is part of it.

@LindaOHio I wish I had done gymnastics growing up....so that is cool that it is. If I have a daughter, may let her at least try it out and see if she likes gymnastics.

Hand rails where there are steps are always an excellent idea. Hope you can get them soon.
If she won't take any money, you can always get her a gift card for something you know she likes. That usually works!

The concrete guy said he can do the handrails in the next day or two if it doesn't rain. I wish I knew where to get a gift card. I'll have to work on that.

@MarieCoyle I know where to get them...I just don't know what she'd like. She doesn't like to go to restaurants (she went with me once), I don't think she shops at Walmart.....I just don't know.

Probably the more rails the better. Today I had a bowl of Kashi, strawberry and feta salad, and French bread pizza and strawberries. Can you guess, I have strawberries??

Strawberries are so goo. The concrete guy said that if it doesn't rain, he could get the rails done in a day or two.

Yesterday since I worked even it was Saturday just grabbed some veggies and fish in the canteen and asked for free soup. Since it was raining her in the Philippines for a couple of days I also have some coffee.
