A reverse senior moment?

I was looking for my crutch this morning and could not find it. I am currently keeping one crutch in the back of my truck and using the other to get around. Inside my house, I can get by without the crutch, for the most part.
I had a vague memory of putting my crutch somewhere and telling myseff "Not my usual thing, but I'll find it." Do you ever have random memories like that? Of a brief conversation with yourself?
Anyway, I woke up this morning and could not find my crutch. My left knee needs a lot of help when I first wake up. I searched my home several times. And then the balcony. I peeked outside my front door.
Finally, I gave up.
11 AM came around. Noon in Montana! I decided to go to my drug dealer's place and get some Scotch. I wondered as I approached my truck if there would be one crutch in the back or two.
There were two.
I must have had my "not my usual thing" moment as I was leaving my truck yesterday evening and boldly walking back to my apartment.
Does this count as a Senior Moment? Am I ready for The Home? Or do I get a pass?
Selfie was taken with my cell phone.

Doesn't sound like a SENIOR moment...sounds like a drunk moment..or a High moment. A senior moment is when you lay something down close by where you were...and 2 minutes later you can not find it even when you are still in that area...like scissors, knives, salt pepper, spoon..etc. LOL I have those a LOT!

I'd say you get a pass. At least you found it.

@kaylachan Funny that I knew I had put them where I would find them, but that I had forgotten exactly where that was.

Definitely not a senior moment something like that can happen to anyone and if your knee felt better at the moment then that was good, Man oh man telling me that awful photo is a selfie is like telling me you're Mr Jekyll to Dr Hyde. I've seen those handsome smiling photos with a guitar in your hand,

A senior moment would be looking for your keys when you are holding them in your hands. Or you are staring at the item you are searching for but do not see it.

@lovebuglena Fortunately, I keep several pair (pairs?) around here, including some from the Dollar Tree.

@TheHorse And isn't it frustrating when you can't find them?

It sounds like what my older sister and I called our "automatic hands" moments. Often our hands would happily put stuff away automatically, and then laugh as our brains struggled with trying to find the things. They were always in a "safe place".

Were you sober? I'm glad you found your crutches. My husband hid some money in the house; and now he can't find it. Sigh. He loses things a lot. I don't think you're ready for the home...it probably was a senior moment. Have a good week.

@TheHorse The money is still lost. We may never find it.

@LindaOHio If I were there, I'd play Sherlock Horse with the two of you once he gets home. I usually "lose" things when there is a break in my routine. For example, I might put my crutches in a different place if I have two bags of groceries, not one, when I open the front door.
