My daughter had a colonoscopy - they found something

My daughter's been having digestive issues for a while. She says she has problems pooping, lots of discomfort, etc. They ran one series of tests using a radioactive liquid that she swallowed after which they scanned her. I don't know the outcome of that, but this test was in addition to that one.
First of all, they found she had diverticulitis, an inflammation of bulging pouches in her colon. Farther up, they found a mass. They don't know what kind, so she now has to have an ultrasound done. She doesn't yet have that scheduled, so I'll know more after that. But, as it stands, we don't know what the mass is or if it's something more than just a growth. I hope it's just a growth. I don't know what I'd do if it's something bad.

@jerzgirl Yes, I agree with you praying about that treatable mass will vanish to nothing and your daughter gains back her strength and wholeness. Hugs. Peace to your daughter and you, Wendy.

I hope that it's nothing serious and just a non cancerous growth that can be surgically removed. Keeping her in prayers and thoughts.

Sending good vibes your way. Hoping it's not too serious.
