8/1/24 - Update on My Husband

My husband will be coming home Sunday or Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The physical therapy records were finally ready and will be mailed today Priority Express overnight delivery. They must be there by Friday. I will call the judge's team and let them know they are coming.
My husband admitted that he's scared to come home. He was very snarky with me; but I attributed that to stress. Our housekeeper and I are getting as many things ready for him as possible. He may come in through the garage; and that may be a problem because the car wouldn't start last time. Our housekeeper's husband had to jump it. If he comes up the front steps he will need someone to walk up with him. Either way he comes in someone (hopefully our housekeeper's husband who is a big guy) must support him so he doesn't fall.
I will call my favorite Social Worker today and tell her he's leaving and also have her get in touch with the doctor to set up some home PT.

So the nurse-cousin agreed to be the main caregiver for now, right? I hope you have one other person that can come and help you out, she will want a day off, etc. Her little dog will come with her? I know you love dogs so that’s nice.
I’m sure it will take some days of getting used to, him being home after all this time being gone. I hope the transition goes smoothly and well for all of you.

The Social Worker is setting up a nurse and physical therapist. Yes, her dog will be here anytime she is.

Hallelujah and time to make a party even if it is just a party for you and your hubby, Well, of course he's doubtful about coming home even with problems he was waited on in the hospital.
