Back to summer for me

The temps have headed up again. Sweet sunshine. I will pull hoses tonight and water thirsty gardens. Usually I have been going to physical therapy on Mondays and Wednesday mornings. They pulled a switch on me so I went this morning instead of yesterday. I will keep going until at least the end of this month- will know more after I see the Orthopedic guys in early September. PT is painful but it keeps me concentrating on the physical me. I think the hard work is producing a straighter me and a stronger me. One horrid stretch after another. This week I exercised in the pool for thirty minutes, went to PT twice and walked the dogs around the block yesterday. Moxe continues to attempt to pay attention to me even though there are temptations like snarling barking dogs in a neighbors back yard. She tries and gets lots of praise for not yanking on me too hard when she really wants to go blast those guys back.

Snarling, barking dogs in your neighborhood, that's frightening! Exercising in the pool, how nice:)

@kobesbuddy My Rufus was a bad guy last week. He deeply hates the mail carrier. A younger sub mailman showed up. He needed to deliver a large puffy envelope. Oh Rufus jumped and snarled at the poor guy before I could get out there. The carrier waved the envelope at Rufus- the dummy- like exciting an excited bull. Now I bet Rufus will remember and will be nastier than he was.

You'd think PT would make you feel better. I guess it will in the long run.

@JudyEv PT is making me walk in a healthier way. The big issue is that I haven't done this in years so my body feels weird and hurts when I am upright and 'abnormal'. I don't know if that makes sense.

@sallypup Yes, it does make sense. You can get used to walking in a certain way so that your body hurts less.

@sallypup I hope we get that soon. Today's been the most overcast that it's been in weeks.

I've been really surprised about how hot it's been through out the USA, not a normal summer that's for sure

Glad the PT is helping you. Our temperatures are up in the mid to upper 90s again too.
