It's Hotter Than Hell In Here

August 2, 2024 4:48pm CST
The temps in Phoenix Arizona is 111 degrees right this minute. The coolest it will get this week is around 92 degrees at 2 am. They've broken their own record with a high temperature streak of hitting near 111 or more for 30 days straight. Phoenix is the hottest city in America. Living underground doesn't seem like such a bad idea. People are trying just about anything to stay cool. Mini Air Conditioners to carry around would Garner millions. People in Arizona better be real nice.

I know how you feel since the weather in Lake Charles is like an oven outside with an electric fan keeping me cool inside my bedroom.

I can understand that. Florida isn't near as hot, but our AC doesn't seem to be doing its job, either. It just can't keep up. I hope this rain we're supposed to get this weekend will clear things out.

Let's hope the rain will cool things off. Florida has high humidity.

That is really tough conditions. It is tough across the world with the climate change. The heatwaves are making the summers unbearable . Also, there are areas where the rainy season is flooding . You are right - people need to stay near mini air conditioners wherever they go. In these conditions, we need to stay indoors near the air conditioner. We need to ensure the air conditioning is apt. I can understand your scenario. Hope the condition changes quick. However, we need to do something on the climate change or things could turn worse.

We can't ignore climate change with temps reaching above 100 for 30 days straight. This is no normal summer heat around the world. Every summer the notch gets turned up at least a few degrees it seems.
