Disqualifying Trump from Running for Office

Yesterday on YouTube I saw where Republicans are trying to use Section 3 of the Constitution to disqualify Trump from running for the Presidency. Section 3 says that no person who has caused or been a party to an insurrection cannot run for President of the United States. (Even his lawyers called what happened on January 6, 2021, an insurrection.) Several Secretaries of State are going to be suing those who put him on the ballot in many states. I wonder what the judges will say about this. Could my dream come true and his chance to run is finally eliminated?

I'm afraid not. There's no proof he caused or was directly involved on the events of Jan 6th. This was proven when his impeachment failed. No, you'll just have to deal with it.

@kaylachan, But what had happened on that day? Is it something that should not have happened?

The only thing that was proven is that Republican Senators aided and abetted a criminal.

@kaylachan Trump reminds me of one of my brothers. That guy was so nasty and smarmy. Always 'you can't prove it!' No thinking about the right of things; the morals. Creeps.

@BarBaraPrz ......No. But they are getting tired of Trump. If just one state would be able to get his off then that would give reasoning for others to be able to get him off too.

More proof the Republican party is in panic mode after Kamala became the Democrat party's candidate. The time for stopping Trump from running for the presidency has past. Vox populi, let the people's voice be heard this election. This is the only way to rid Trump's influence in US politics. Let us hope he does not win. Else, "winter is coming".

As will we all. But I hope that people will do their part and get out and vote for democracy and not let this inhumane, evil man take over our liberty.

I think Trump has a very strong character and political position in the government. It is difficult to demote or replace his position in his candidacy for president this time.
