There was a time when you saw the doctor, around the first of the month the office would be packed. Today, I went and there was only one person. I was surprised. So again, I was in and out. I went to a store, and got dog food, a lot of stores don't sell 50 lbs. So I got the food, and came home. I would have gotten home earlier, but they working on the road. It was blocked for a couple of miles, did that ever suck . Have a great evening.

I think it's because doctor's offices are struggling. They aren't making the money because of various reasons. Like being picky and choosy about what insurance they take, or they try to bully and order their patients (like they did with me) so you have less people going. Another reason is cost, and lack of insurance. Money is a factor. It doesn't surprise me.

@popciclecold Most people don't. But healthcare has changed. Less people have money. I wrote a very long discussion about my own doctor's office talking to me like I would do what they wanted because my insurance company asked me too. I don't work for my doctor's office, I don't work for the insurance company. They aren't paying my bills. So I am not willing to do as they say. Sure I have a card that Might pay for food, over-the-counter medicine and/or uitilities, but it's only 220/ month. Since the stroke, It's helped me order groceries from Wal-mart. but that's not near enough for me to spend money I don't have to go all over town for bloowork I don't want.

I have been with my same doctor for 25 years. Not only do I never have a problem getting an appointment, but the office is never crowded whenever I have to visit the doctor.
I'm glad you were able to get in and out, although all that time you saved at the doctor was lost when trying to get home due to all that road work.

@popciclecold The heat gets so bad here in Florida that all road construction has to be done overnight, so that the workers don't melt in the heat.
