Jay Needed More Visqueen to Kill the Grass

The city worker told Jay, cover the tall grass with visqueen and anchor it down with boards. This will kill the grass, until the house is situated on our lot. There were neighborly complaints that we needed to mow the grass. Most of it is on top of hills, where the soil is pushed into small mountains. I volunteered to weed whip but Jay said, "NO." Jay ran out of visqueen. So we had to run to Bay City again last evening, to buy some more. What we didn't anticipate, the Jeep was fine going to Bay City. Coming back towards home, it stalled out probably twenty times. Jay doesn't have a driver's license until the 21st of August, so I was driving. I would simply pull off the highway onto the shoulder. Turn the engine off and put the emergency flashers on for about three minutes. Then, I'd start the engine and drive a few more miles towards home. This was awful! Then I discovered, the jeep only did this when my speed reached 60mph. Apparently, the one back tire's four-wheel brake, won't function over 58mph. It's broken. So the Friday evening traffic heading north kept passing me, they wanted to travel a bit faster. OH well, the other drivers didn't understand my predicament, but I certainly did We made it home safely, Kharla was definitely holding her breath! I hate to drive, but I need to at this time. This trailer actually looked inviting to me, for the first time ever Photo: Borrowed from Pixabay

So brave! I remember driving home on a busy freeway in a car I didn't know how to drive. At one point I had a semi in the other lane and cars in front and in back of me. I had to keep at a certain speed. It was very scary. indeed.

There's nothing worse, than being in the driver's seat during bad situations on the highway! Going top speed:(

That would have been a nightmare journey. My sister is always spraying weeds at her place.

Sounds like you need to either take it to the shop or get a new 1 cause that could be dangerous, I know either 1 isn't cheap but it's the best option you have other than getting stranded.

I really wasn't worried, it was just very time consuming. My jeep kept stalling in traffic.

Never heard of visqueen, sounds like it may be some kind of light proof sheeting
