Sometimes

Sometimes a building can't be saved. The photo shows the smallest shed on my property. This is the final photo for this building that somebody built in the 50's. Its dank inside, its walls crumbling in. Its concrete will remain though grass is intruding on it. It's a humble little building. Ivy is taking over one entire side. So today two workers are demolishing this building. They are hauling off the pieces. By tomorrow night only a slab will remain. Maybe next Spring we'll have a new shed. For today I am sad as I say goodbye to an elderly building. No and no on touching the big barn like shed that lives to the side of the little guy. The big barn has its issues, too, but I will continue to insist it remain erect.

Sometimes buildings deteriorate so much all you can do is dismantle them.
