My daughter has quit her job as a Nurse Practitioner. Her hours took her away, from normal family time. Her husband's request, to change jobs.
So, now Mari Lyn is employed by McLaren Hospital. They have various locations around the state of Michigan, to my understanding.
She will be working in nursing, from this week forward. I'm very proud of this young lady. Throughout COVID she worked her heart out, to keep people from dying:)
Yet, many that she cared for didn't make it. My daughter gave her best efforts, in spite of these tragic endings.
She's one of my heroes

She was so over done, the MDs use these NPs to cover their office work.

@sallypup I tried to do this, only to find myself a PA. Doctors hire PAs to handle their work load.

The people in the health department were not less than heroes to all of us during the challenging covid days. Many of them risked their own lives to save others'. Really those were the days! But I'm happy your daughter is giving importance to your family first.
And looks like she too has a daughter. So, it's vital to get such a job that'll allow anyone to get some time for their families too. That was a great decision.

@kobesbuddy That's so sweet of you. Really there are times when there's no one who can help us, but He. I'm happy you came out successfully.
And, by the way, I got it right, right? The two ladies in the picture are your daughter and grand daughter.

She worked in pediatrics for about 20 years. Now, she will be working with grownups, most of the time.

Mari Lyn worked as a nursing in pediatrics for about 15 years. She went back to school(online)and got her masters in medicine. As a nurse practitioner, the money was more. But, the stress level was 10 times over the maximum level. She burnt out, after three years.
