An owner of an auto that was parked in a parking lot outside of a hotel in Gatlinburg Tennessee is lucky to not have been attacked by a bear that opened the passenger front and back door to reach for some food while the owner of the silver colored Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) stood on the driver's side at the same time. The incident took place on Monday July 29 when the driver of the SUV tried to get the bear out of her auto by honking the horn. The bear did not move away from the SUV when eyewitnesses who were filming the story managed to throw food at the bear into the parking lot to get the bear away from the SUV. The two women who were the victims of the bear coming to eat their food managed to leave the parking lot quickly after getting their SUV, locking their doors and leaving the area safely. It is evident that bears who are losing their places to call home are now searching for food in parking lots these days. Link is upi.com/5261722357803 via @upi

I feel sorry for the bears, They are hungry, I mean people can always buy food but animals can't.

@popciclecold I know that Yogi Bear is a fictional character but I am sure that bears in real life behave like the cartoon character.

The world is getting smaller every day and greed even pushing things farther. Animals have no chance if the human animal cannot change its way.

That is what many animal officials are saying about taking away the lands from animals.

I would be in fear myself if I saw a bear near me as well.

Yes, people are going to forests. Those are their homes. If they attack they are killed. People are very selfish and they don't care about other beings. Bears are dangerous animals and some people take selfies with them.

I am in agreement with you that people underestimate the power of the bears these days.

Perhaps the bear, just wanted to borrow the car, to drive to the nearest MacDonalds.

It could have been a reason why the bear wanted to get into the SUV in the first place.

Those people were lucky that the bear was only interested in the food.
