Attitudes

I consider myself different when it comes to many attitudes...
For example, yesterday I was talking with some married friends, and at a certain point, they started talking about intimate things they did with their wives. I changed the subject and said that I wouldn't talk about my intimate life at all. They laughed and said it wasn't necessary to be so reserved, that it was common to talk about such things. At that moment, I got up and said I had an appointment so I wouldn't stay there any longer, going through a situation that I believe doesn't add anything to my life.
Do you feel the same way?

Everyone is unique. There are topics that people would like to be reserved while speaking in public or with friends. This need not be about intimacy alone .It could religion , political affiliations , beliefs etc. The best thing to do in such scenarios - is to leave the group stating some reason without showing any disinterest . In this way, you save your group and do not feel alienated. These are common things that happen in any community. We need to handle/adjust to live with the society. So, there is nothing weird in such things.
