8/6/24 - Update On My Husband

My husband was sent back to the rehab facility last night. They quarantined him in a private room. I don't know how long he will be quarantined.
The PT records never made it to the judge's team. They were sent to a PO Box. The judge said that she wouldn't extend the receipt date past the August 2 date; so I requested that the records be returned to me. I found out that there are 2 more appeals past the one that we made; and the records could be submitted with the next appeal if we should lose the current one. I will be able to get a refund of $67 since the package did not arrive by 6 pm on Friday.

At least he is not with that horrible roommate. I am wondering where you are today. I hope you are okay and that you did not come down with covid.

We had a big storm and tornado warning which knocked out our TV/internet/phone for 2 days. We had torrential rains and wind. Right down the road there were uprooted trees and downed power lines. We were lucky.

Hi Linda! I know I have been gone for a long time and I don't even have the time to check previous posts at all. I have been extremely busy and with he coming "-ber" months, I don't think I could spend as much time here as I'd wish.
I have no idea what happened to your husband. Prayers for his fast recovery.

Well, that's just how things work. It's not unusal for mail to go to a po box or other location when it could not go to the business directly. Or it could be the fault of the mail system, hard to say for sure.

I hope that your hubby recuperates now and can get home, I guess now it will take some time again with PT and all, Will he have PT even with COVID? Many blessings to you both,

Thank you. They started him on PT yesterday. I imagine they didn't have him do too much. I will probably talk to him tonight.

What a headache for you that the judge refused to accept the records. At least you have another chance if the appeal is denied. Hope your hubby recovers quickly while he's in quarantine and I'm sure he's happy to have a private room without his annoying roommate blasting the tv.

You know the post office’s motto: “we deliver…when we feel like. And we usually DON’T feel like it.”
I’m glad Mr. OHio is better so he doesn’t have to be in the hospital. I hope he doesn’t get spoiled by the private room and the normal TV volume level.
