"Minnesota nice" is a cultural stereotype applied to the behavior of people from Minnesota, implying residents are unusually courteous, reserved, and mild-mannered.
I watched on YouTube the speech given by Democratic VP nominee Tim Walz. To say I was impressed is an understatement. His speech fired up the audience as evidenced by the enthusiasm and applause that greeted each of his talking points.
Before he gave his speech, his mild manner and happy demeanor projected warmth and goodwill. Not unlike that of the favorite uncle you go to when you need a sympathetic ear and understanding.
This speech would probably rank among the best of speeches given in an US election campaign. Unlike many political speeches that often relied on bombastic rhetoric that had little or no meaning, the audience got a straight-talking one from Tim Walz. It was direct, open and HONEST.
In his "nice guy" soft spoken way, he was very effective delivering the Democratic campaign message.
Expect an upward surge in approval for the Democrats in the next poll survey.

I am always for that but people here want authentic. He is authentic did pretty much every thing, but never say nice in America, for some reason they want no part of it. They claim they nice, but I even have to tell my dog to be nice, she is very nice but if you do not remind her.
Small surge nothing big and would be nice but again people need to believe it. Trump fake but if these dudes show one falter Trump will be president again. How that works, not sure to this day. I think its like a self destruct button. My way or Trump.

Can't blame America since "nice" can have different meaning in a very negative way. An example would be the saying "nice guys always finish last" or always losing the girl to the "bad boy".
It is unlikely there would be any election debate between the two opposing political parties. But if a VP debate happens, JD Vance should be forewarned that "Minnesota nice" is also a kind of warning design to keep the other at arms length. But hidden behind the mask of friendliness is a passive aggressiveness waiting to be release on the unwary.
