A very odd accident happened on Interstate 10 in San Antonio Texas on Sunday afternoon when a tank fell off a flatbed.
The towing company called Mission Wrecker San Antonio was called to the scene of the accident which happened near the Wurzbach exit.
The towing company had been in contact with the military persons stationed at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis.
The tank was restored by the towing company back on the flatbed safely as traffic was on hold for a few hours when a M109 Howitzer tank fell off of the flatbed.
No one was hurt in the incident. The tank was not part of any military convoy by the way.

It sounds like that they tanked up the road for quite a while after that mishap too.

I'm glad the tank didn't fall on a car.
