Wheee! It's cool out this morning! How's the weather where you are?

Well, it's hot as usual. already 90 and I've only been up about an hour.

Morning was a mix of clouds and sunshine. Yet dark clouds gathered and we had good heavy rains for quite some time. It was pleasant by the evening but it is more pleasant outside than inside. Good to know that your knee is better now. Have a great weekend ahead.

It was cooler this morning . . . but now it's about 97. Hot, but yah, not scorching (yet). I hope you have more days of less pain or even no pain. Today son went to his first day of high school . . . how weird to start on a Friday.

It’s absolutely splendid! Low 80s, low humidity, nice breeze. Chuy’s has the patio open, which is unusual in the middle of August (they usually can’t because it’s so freaking hot).

I was about to ask if the Montana trip had to be postponed but I've got my answer. Have you rescheduled your trip?

We are having a very strange summer for weather. Either very hot, or way cooler than normal. Last week it was a steam bath, tonight and tomorrow night it is supposed to be down to nearly 50 degrees!! It's August--all of the weather people here say if it gets below 52, it will set records. Weird summer!

We had a cooler day today. I even wore a sweater I had a really long lunch (3 hours) with a friend from college. So a fifty year friend. We had a really nice little roast I put in the slow cooker before I left. I also have made a treat that we will try tonight or tomorrow. It was cool enough to do some baking.

It's hot here but it seems it will rain badly tomorrow and then the weather will be cooler a bit.

It's 94 here at 7p. Ugh! I am about ready to go offline for the night. A lot of paperwork to do otherwise. Will start over again tomorrow. Nice to hear that your knee is doing better. How long until you get back up to Montana?

We're happy, it was much cooler today and yesterday. I'm glad your knee is doing better, good news! Our temp is right around 79, at this time.

One of my neighbor ladies is pushing her sons who live in the fire area, to move her up there. She's 92 years old and wants to go back up there to gamble. She insists she constantly wins, which is the furthest thing from the truth. She stops by my place and complains for two hours about how her two sons won't let her move up there with them so she can gamble. I'm going to check the news bulletins to see what they have to say about the fires. It's one heck of a mess, and I'm glad I don't live up there. OH, I got a really neat antique Aussie poetry book. I havent had a chance to read much of it, I may do so today....I may make a copy for you.

the weather is also bright today, the sun is shining brightly and the butterflies seem very happy flying in the open air hopefully this afternoon will not be dark and stormy, the weather here is often unpredictable, sometimes it is bright and in an instant it rains heavily lol
