House Guest Gecko

I know it's a bit boring but this small lizard (about 5 inches) accidentally got inside our house and played dead for around 10-15 minutes. My children had a great time watching it (play dead) and noticing its eyes and head move a little bit every now and then. I had a great time taking macro shots of it too!!! CAN YOU SEE ITS EYE MOVE?? One of those days with children I wish to keep recollecting and remembering. Photo All rights reserved copyright by G.A. Henty

That is so cool. It looks more like an iguana to me but I'm no reptile expert. I'd be like "hey new roomie!" We used to see lots of gekkos around the condo in Cozumel. Lots of iguanas on the beaches. I loved it!

We met with an iguana at the paddock, as well. It had pointed 'gills' on its back.

cute. My cats love to "play" with lizards. I try not let any in.

lizzards are so fun to watch. My kids kept one for a few days then turned it back into the wild. It was attached by one of our cats and they wanted to make sure it would survive after they saved it.

I like geckos. I saw a lot of them when I lived in Guam. They were also in the house.
