Neigther George or I have been outside yet, but based on what the weather's saying, we don't want to be. not quite 12:30 and it's already 89 with a high of 91. Though if I know my summer temps that'll be more like 92 or 93.
George is relaxing comfortably on the couch, and he is watching Love Boat. He wants to call his "sister" but I'm waiting for his phone to charge.
Not much happening here right now. It's Monday so that's my laundry day. I'd better get started on it.

I had a doctor’s appointment to follow-up with the ER visit last week. That went well, so I’m going to a park for a walk before I go home. Hope you have a good day, and I hope those showers around Gainesville as I write this are it down to Daytona to cool you off!

We're expected to get some showers later this afternoon, but only about 35 percent last I looked. Meaning it might clud up, make some noise and just move on.

@kaylachan — when we moved there when I was a teenager it was usually cloud up around noon, deluge at 12:45 - 1:30, sun out and you couldn’t tell it had rained by 2:15.

It's only in the 80s today, so pretty nice, but I'm at home sick with a summer cold, so I am not really enjoying it, sadly.

It's a nice and balmy 76 degrees here at mid day--very nice out, but humidity is climbing. Supposedly may get some thunderstorms, time will tell.
I don't mind doing laundry, although there are times when I have to really hustle through it or it doesn't get put away before I have to leave, etc. It just sits in the basket until I can get to it...but that affects no one but me, and it's generally towels, etc. that suffer sitting in the basket--and towels don't wrinkle, so I don't worry about it.
I haven't watched the Love Boat in years. My son binged ''Billy the Exterminator'' until he watched them all. Now he is binging some car show thing, I can't remember the name of it. Have a good day, Kayla.
