My Neighbors Landlord

Yesterday, at church I saw the landlord who my neighbor used to live. I asked if he had heard anything from him, he said no, but say he is holding him up. He said the neighbors furniture was still in the house. He said my neighbor was supposed to pay a fine which he didn't pay, and that's the reason he is in jail. So not only is his car there but furniture also. The landlord said he is in jail in Alabama. He is losing money because he can't rent the place. That's a sad situation. I sure hope it works out pretty soon.

The guy can rent the place if payments aren't being met. He can auction off or sell the furnishings, too. Why he's not I don't know.

I would think he could sell the furniture and rent the apartment. Have a good day.

I wonder if the neighbor's family could help, either by paying the fine, helping with the rent, or coming to take the furniture...

We don't know his family. He's in jail in another state.
