Firefighters in Wisconsin hoist deer out of a hole

Deer that fell into a hole in Stevens Point rescued by firefighters

Firefighters from the Stevens Point Wisconsin answered an emergency call a week ago when a deer fell into a hole on the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. The deer needed help from the firefighters to get out of the hole by restraining and secure the deer from the trap that the animal had gotten into by accident. The deer was so grateful to be free from being in the hole that the animal ran back to be with its relatives. Link is upi.com/3201722974883 via @upi

I love hearing those stories. I used to think it was funny that one of the classes at TN River that is offered is large animal rescue but after being here for quite a bit, I can see why it would useful.

That’s such a heartwarming rescue story! Glad the deer made it out and reunited with its crew. Kudos to the firefighters for their quick thinking!

Aw, the poor little deer looks so worried down in that hole, you can just see the panic in its eyes. It must feel so good when they rescue an animal that would have otherwise perished without their assistance.

Glad they ehlped that deer out of the hole but how in the world did it get in there I wonder. Probably took a flying leap and suddenly landed way down below,
