The restaurant I went to for brunch yesterday is really known for their dessert bar. It is delicious and luscious. Their dessert case is filled to the brim with all kinds of concoctions. I could not resist taking a piece home with me. It was a tough choice but I went with the Cannoli cheesecake. Just as good as from the Cheesecake Factory for half the price. They make a strawberry crunch cake there that is out of this world. Do you eat any places that have fantastic desserts?

They had one of those in Richmond, but it went out of business several years ago. I ate there once or twice.

I absolutely love cannoli's and cheesecake, that sounds amazing! There's a pizza place close by that I get a calzone and cannoli at when we go. So delicious! =)

@snowy22315 That would be great.
I usually substitute a cheesecake with a lighter recipe that usually calls for puddings and fresh fruit.
As much as I love my dairy I just do not love cheesecake, it is too rich and thick for me.
But please post a picture, I could study it and do a search to find something similar. I love challenges like that.

@snowy22315 It has a moist dark chocolate cake topped with a chocolate mousse, then a dark chocolate "frosting" and dark chocolate bits. It's soooooo good.

I never order dessert unless it’s my birthday because then I know I’ll probably be getting one free or for a deep discount. But boy, a lot of places have really good ones. There is one place, and I wish I could remember the name, that had all these homemade pies. Their regular food was fine, but the pies were amazingly divine. They have two locations in Oklahoma. I just can’t remember the name.

There is a place that has been around forever in the Shenandoah Valley that has all homemade pie. Their pie case used to runneth over, but I was there last summer and they had only 5 or 6 kinds in the case Those were the cream pies though. I am sure they had others.

I no longer go out. My desserts consist so of an ice cream sandwich and a ding dong which is my version of cake and ice cream, I do remember I was once madly in love with NY Cheesecake when I lived there,

It would be nice to go there sometime for a cup of Earl Grey and you could split a dessert or muffin with hubby.

I peruse it to if it's available. Sometimes you have to wait until after the deal to see what they have though

Yes, there is a dessert place in my province that I like to visit when I have some extra money to spare. They have really tasty desserts! I enjoy going there every once in a while.
