I've seen this movie about five times, throughout the years. It is one of our favorite movies. Richard Egan was the doctor, James Drury was the pretty maid's handsome fiance'. Of course, Hailey Mills was Pollyanna, the precious little girl that brought God's loving kindness to a staunch, wealthy household. Aunt Polly's heart was softened, as were all the other residents of this town. The pastor, Carl Malden announce to the community, that Pollyanna had blessed every life that she had encountered:) We get teary eyed, every time Hailey sings the song, "America, America." God shed his grace, on thee! And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea!" Mine: from almost 20 years ago

@kobesbuddy One thing that bothers me is that the endings of movies does not have a final conclusion. Just tune in for the next movie.

All the Disney features used to be fun and ended in a happy way. Now, all the Disney movies are different, there are fights, shooting and at times, they are quite violent..

@kobesbuddy Yes! And, she’s in a new movie. It’s a thriller, but I’m glad to see her still getting parts. She hasn’t aged in 30 years to me.
