Jay Cut Two Tree Stumps Today

We had three full sized trees across the front of our lot. I begged Jay to leave one of these pine trees to decorate at Christmas time. It looks like an oversized Christmas tree, very pretty. The other two trees had to be cut them down. There had to be room for the men to deliver our home. This will make it real easy, to access our lot. There were two large stumps left standing, about four feet high. Today, Jay took his chain saw and cut them down. They are simply laying on the ground, next to the pine tree. If the neighbor's complain, oh well! Photo: Borrowed from Pixabay

I am sure that he and you are both very busy preparing everything for the arrival of the house, and then working on it as much as you can. In time I am sure that he will have the time to drill into the stumps and put some salts and vinegar into the holes and let nature takes its course of allowing the stumps to decompose.

@kobesbuddy Depending on the type of tree sometimes they do need to be grinded down. We have had great success without resorting to that, but it depends on the wood and the condition of the stump.

There's a man that grinds those places. He has special equipment to do this:)

I told him, hey those stumps are in the way. We need to hire someone to cut them. Jay said, "Nope, I will do it myself." And he did:)

It's very slow progress, but slow is better than nothing at all.

One of his friends burns wood, during the winter. He will take this wood.
