15 August - What I'm thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. I'm glad it's raining. We need it badly. We'll have showers until Saturday morning, so I won't be walking the trails from now until Saturday. It's been a good day. I'm thankful I woke up at 2:15 this morning. I got what I needed to get done before I left. I'm thankful for my friend who signed up at the Kroc Center yesterday and took me with her this morning at 5:45. The pool was awesome. Now, I'm a lap swimmer. I'm not into water walking, but WOW! this water walking was totally different from any water walking I've done in the past. There's a wild current to move you along. I loved it. I did laps for 45 minutes and then the circular walking for another half hour. It was an amazing time in the pool. I'm going back tomorrow and every day I can be there. So, I'll be up at 2:30 every morning again. I'm so happy and thankful. I'll need two towels from now on. They don't have suit spinners. So, I need one towel for my suit. I'm thankful I could walk the trail this morning when I got back. It didn't start raining until afternoon. I'm thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe. It's coming along well. I should have this edit done well before the end of the year and look at publishing it soon after the first of the year. I might work on In the Hands of Mighty Men. I don't know yet. I'm thankful for the nap I got. I only had four hours of sleep last night, so the hour and a half nap I got felt great. I'm thankful for the time I spent with you. I love knowing how you're doing in your corner of the world. Okay, that's my day. Time to get off the computer and work on the foot cycle and watch television. What are you thankful for today?
