I can't use the AC when it's hot

My father almost hit one of my cats today. He said that they should stay in their room. Until now he tolerated them, but he came home and was extremely angry. I hate this and I don't want to be a victim, but I can't live with my father anymore. He has something to criticize every day. One day he says I can't have my cats. The next day he says that I can't use the AC. I paid for it. Why did I pay if I can't use it? When I brought the cats I asked for his permission first. He said yes. When I bought the AC I told him this. I didn't expect that he wouldn't allow us to use it. I found a solution. I decided to avoid him and never see him again. In the past I was smart and when he was home I didn't leave my room. I will do the same now, I will be hidden in a room.

I wish there was a way that you and your beautiful cats could move in with me. Trying to exist with a "person" that has that much anger locked up inside him is horrible!!! Somehow, someway, someone has to get to the source of that anger. It isn't doing either of you any good, and it could cause great injury to him at the hands of another.
It isn't fair to you to have you feel forced to be hidden in your room and avoiding him, never to see him again. I hope and pray for a solution to your problem. You are such a sweet being and it isn't right that you are put through this constantly.
I have an AC but can't afford to use it, so I use fans in the room I'm in, they help a lot, especially when our temperatures get up around 104 degrees.

Sorry for all the trouble you're going through, If for now, the answer is to stay in your room then do that, How many cats do you have and do they also stay in your room? Wishing you all the very best,

We don't have an AC, thus we use electric fans to stay cool.

Yours is a difficult situation. Keep yourself and your cats safe and try to find another living situation when you can. It sounds like your dad has a temper--
