No AC until at least Monday / myLot

The maintenance guy showed up here over an hour ago and said "bad news". Awesome. Yup the unit is broken just like it was a month ago. For whatever reason he said he can't get it working again until Monday. I know the last time the guy "rigged" it to get it working but it wasn't a permanent fix. I have no clue what he is going to do on Monday. I guarantee it isn't going to be replacing the whole unit outside the building. It is supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow so the humidity will be gross but the temperature is only going to be about 80 F. I have a fan in the bedroom and I just got one for the dining room table. I will be fine. Uncomfortable maybe but fine.

The owners of the town house here invested in some portable, freestanding air conditioners a few years ago that they bring to us if our AC breaks down and it will be a day or two until it’s repaired (usually waiting on a part) those things are a lifesaver. The humidity here has been terrible. We have a thunderstorm every few hours, then the sun comes out and steams everything dry..and sticky!

I'm not sure how uncomfortable it might be, but I hope you handle it okay. I'm pretty accustomed to humidity since it's common where I live.

I can just imagine the humidity. We do get uncomfortable when it is high.

George and I can't live without our A.C. I don't know how you'll do it, because we both know he's going to keep band-aiding the whole thing until he's got no other choice.
