He's doing OK. Chest is still congested a bit; but he's not coughing as much. But he's worn out from the COVID and isn't back up to speed with his physical therapy.
I wish I could convince him to get dressed and have someone help him into a wheelchair on the weekends. He could "walk" around the facility like the other residents.do and get some exercise.
We will go to see him on his birthday on Tuesday and bring him some cake.
They are still working on the order cancellation thing for the grab bar at Walmart. Apparently there are quite a few people getting their orders cancelled; and Walmart has been unable to solve the problem.
I should hear something on the appeal by September 3. I have not received the PT records back from the judge's team; so I will call tomorrow to check on that.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers and thoughts.

@MarieCoyle I have never had it personally, nor my hubs, but I have spoken with people who say that the total body exhaustion is the worst and that it lasts for weeks and months in some cases. It also chokes a person's thought process.

Covid just can wipe you out, and you don't want to do anything but rest. My daughter made the comment one day that just walking through the house, she wanted to sit and rest. She is stronger than she was, but still very, very tired. She misses taking her walks and playing with the dog, and working in the yard.

@Juliaacv One of my good friends is very immunocompromised. She has had Covid 3 times, and all were right after a plane trip combined with a bus tour. Needless to say, she is done with traveling for a long time, she is sick of being sick! This last round was late June/early July...and she is still dragging around. She takes a nap every day now, and never, ever wanted to before. She has had such a hard time with it, as have others. I really, really do not want Covid.

If he would tool around in his wheelchair on the weekends, he would do better in PT on Mondays.

I have the same problem with my hubby and he is home. He will get up and not get dressed, just sit in his robe in a chair all day and read and watch TV. Not moving steals your strength. I hope things begin to straighten out.

Thank you very much. Yes, I think he's still fatigued from the COVID.

Thanks! Walking yourself around in a wheelchair is good exercise.

Yes, I wish he’d do something on the weekend, too.

He refuses. He's very stubborn...like me.

Going around the facility would help his legs

Yeah, it will take a while for him to fully recover from Covid.
