It's been a weird Sunday

As awful as I've been feeling I've been stretching out in bed much earlier than usual. I just haven't had the energy to stay up too late. I will admit that last night it was a good thing that I did. At 3:30 a.m. I woke up to voices outside my window...I knew my door was locked and if anyone was going to break in they would have a lot of fun because I live on the 3rd floor. It was more of an annoyance factor to have someone making that much racket so early in the morning. I checked and it was neighbors that have one of the places behind me...rather than being an old crab, I let the people have their fun and I went back to sleep. I woke up again at 7:30 a.m. and it was kind of dark outside. It was also cold. I got up and snuck a peek, and much to my surprise we had fog!!! The weather guessers didn't call for fog!!! It hung in until around 9 a.m. and then it got warm...around 93 degrees. Freya felt her oats and decided to play with her favorite toys, her pipe cleaners. (It is so funny, you can spend a small fortune on toys for your children and pets and they love the inexpensive stuff so much more!!! Freya adores her pipe cleaners and nothing pleases her more than when I give her a new one!!! She doesn't tear them apart, she bats them around, tosses them in the air, and carries them in her mouth, but she doesn't tear them up.). As I discussed with my friend and neighbor, I plan to get the two brats a 6 foot cat tree for their Christmas present. We both have been battling some summer virus. I am hoping to do the grocery store, pharmacy and get change to do laundry tomorrow. My gentleman friend hasn't contacted me, and I am concerned about him because he called me last week to tell me he wasn't feeling well and wasn't going to make our usual dates. If what he has is anything like what I've got, I can totally understand his not wanting to do our usual dates...Hopefully I'll hear from him Wednesday. His phone doesn't receive where he is, so he has to call me. Well, I'm going to go back to trying to do some craft work, I'm going to crawl in bed early again. It seems to be helping a LOT! I am feeling better each day, which I doubt I would if I didn't use my head and get plenty of rest. So, to all my myLot friends, take care of yourselves and make sure that you keep hydrated during the hot weather. It might be a bit of fluid, but it does make a huge difference. Hugs to you all.

rest is always the best for when we feel sick, that's what I do when I don't feel good I spend time to sleep it off or get as much rest I can when I can, no matter how long it takes like today we spent most our time in bed cause it was just 1 of them days.

I don't always spend a lot of time in bed, but this has been one of those times that I have felt awful enough that I have craved time in bed. It has helped a lot...I'm hoping today to have enough energy to do the grocery store, pharmacy and get some quarters for laundry. OH!!! And I need to get kitty litter and cat food too.

There are times when only a good sound sleep is the best medicine.

There is nothing like a cat to help you get lots and lots of rest!!!! Petey has taken on the job of "Doctor" and stays as close as possible to me. If he isn't in bed with me, he's on my lap while I'm in my chair.

The rest is helping a lot, along with the care given to me by my own personal doctor...Petey. He may have four legs, a tail, and purrs like crazy but when I wake up through the night he's curled up by my head keeping an eye on me. He also curls up on my lap first thing in the morning making sure I don't overdo first thing.
