There is fun seeing potatoes cut as produce in the farms

August 18, 2024 8:52pm CST
When we went to the countryside in the potato plantations we found the farmers are cutting the produce and kept them fit to go to market and cold storage. They are essential commodities and are sold and bought in bulk in the vegetable market in all the states in India.

I enjoy seeing plants yield. On my balcony, I will soon have some sunflowers and two ears of (very small) corn.

When I was in my teens I rode on the back of a potato-harvesting machine. There were four of us and we had to pick out any damaged or diseased potatoes.
