I'm overacting because of 3 days jobless and counting

I don't know why I'm overacting?
About an hour ago, my youngest son arrived from school when the rain been stopped for a while. Then when he reached the house, he said needed to cover his notebook with a purple colored paper then bought a filler notebook. Then needed to have a name tag as instructed by his teacher. We have no purple colored paper available, so, I decided to buy at nearby school supplies store. Not that much but there's still needed a cost.
I'm done covering the Notebook. But the name tag not yet done because I've stopped because I'm currently experiencing back pain.
Then few minutes after, my eldest son arrived from College. Then he mentioned this and this and this. And since there's a lot mentioned plus experiencing back pain and the waiting game of when my new job will be called. As of the moment, I'm 3 days jobless and counting. And I've said to my eldest, "please stopped talking, I don't know what to say and what to think. I don't know how I feel of staying here at home for a long time."
I don't know what will happen next...

@luisga814 Wow! He'll do wonderfully well through his Criminology course. Will he be learning self-defence or Krav Maga , or something?

He's 1st year college, taking Criminology. However, as much as we've wanted him to be working student, he can't because his class schedule is everyday and no fixed schedule. Sometimes morning, sometimes afternoon, sometimes evening

Im sorry to hear about what is happening to you right now , I know its hard specially you have kids to feed and to send to school. I suggest that you should take some rest for a while . Waiting for a call from companies is also stressful , take it one at a time.And please dont put all the frustration on your kids you might hurt their feelings , relax a little bit everything will fall in its place soon .
