Went to the ankle doctor...he said he could operate on my ankle, and fuse it, so it doesn't move. I said NO! He said he could give me a shot today, but I was worried about doing that since I had to go to Walmart. He said if it gets too bad to stop in, and they would give me a shot. Might take him up on it tomorrow. Went to Walmart..Got an Electric cart...the cart kept beeping and said I was Out Of Bounds..Take Cart Back To Store...I was IN the store. Wasn't just in 1 or 2 areas...it was almost anywhere in the grocery section. I kept having to turn it off and on all through the store...as when it tells you that you are out of bounds, it will NOT let you go Forward. The funny thing is...it never made one beep when I actually took it Out of The Store...LOL I am wondering how far I could go before it quit or started beeping...LOL Not that I would do that...Just wondering. LOL

it was probably testing your patience... so why not the surgery, it should make everything better, it seems a better option than the shot

It would fuse the joint of my ankle. would not be able to move my ankle at all. And it is my right foot..would not be able to drive...would have to depend on other people to take me places. If I could have had it done 20 years ago, I might have gone with it. But I am 70 years old with other medical problems.

I'm not worried about hitting anything or anyone, but people do not look where they are going, and sometimes I have to stop quick so they don't run into ME! LOL

lord that would be aggravating, I'm glad when I got out of the hosp I didn't take the chance with them things, I mustard through all the walking I could do, I took my Cain with me just incase I needed it & husband was there to help me if I needed to find a seat cause I wasn't as strong as I though I was, but it sure helped me to get stronger the more I walked the stronger I got. I don't blame you for not having the surgery but I would think about it & ask a lot of questions on it B-4 I done it, & do some research on it as well.

Sorry about your ankle. A shot may help. Those carts would drive me nuts. Have a good day.
